Public House Restaurant

Wow! The service was over the top and the food/ apps & drinks were GREAT! I feel bad for not taking pictures but was was beautiful. Had the smaller filet and it was wonderfully seasoned and as tender A5 wagu. The pimento cheese and Brussel Sprouts apps where great! True expresso martini for desert. Highly recommend. The waiters name was Nick! Wonderful young man with a flare for the menu and a great attitude!!

Each time I've gone has been with friends and we have had an awesome experience. Sometimes parking can be an issue, but by the time we're done we have had so much fun that it is long forgotten. I would definitely recommend Public House!

Food was delicious and service was great. I had the shrimp and grits and they spiced it up for me. The Black Manhattan is unbelievably good. Good atmosphere especially at the Social, the bar attached to the restaurant.

What a great place. The staff are very friendly, the food made with care (tastes wonderful) and the place is modern with a nod to the past. You can’t go wrong if you pick this place. Shannon, our server was great. Thank you all for providing such a lovely meal and the hallmark southern hospitality which we will sorely miss.

Nick and Blake were great

Took my wife here for one of our anniversary meals. The deviled eggs come highly recommended but the piece of pork belly they used for garnish was tough and chewy on this occasion. A good piece of crispy bacon would have complimented better. The pot roast was delicious. The Mac & Cheese was some of the best I've ever had out. Highly recommended! They went above and beyond by giving us a $10 GC to use for our next visit. Very nice touch indeed.

Fish sandwich was very good and the soup was very good. The table kept drinking a lot of water and the bottlers kept being refilled. Parking: I got luck and drive right to a front and center paid street parking space.

One of the greatest places downtown to enjoy a meal with a great variety of appetizers - unique entries ..and the staff is amazing!! MJR
