Excellent food. Exceptional service with so much attention to detail (came on an Anniversary). Beautiful atmosphere. A San Francisco must. Highly recommend. Will be back for sure and definitely would love to come back with bigger groups.
First time here with friends. I had the best service and food here. The waiter was so attentive and thoughtful throughout. I was in a rush to catch my bus and asked them to serve my main course earlier than everyone else and my friend has garlic allergy and they even printed out a separate menu for her. You can't wait for more honestly. Highly recommend this place! Will visit again for sure!
Super mediocre. Took 30 minutes + to get a drink. Halibut was dry. Avoid
So first: the chef has what seems to be an obsession with rosemary. Cocktail? Rosemary. Olives? Rosemary. The little snowflake thing on the panna cotta? GUESS WHAT, ALSO ROSEMARY. That said the food was delicious. You know that scene in Ratatouille where Remy combines the cheese with the strawberry and has an out of body experience? For the purpose of this review we're going to call this phenomenon "being Ratatouille'd" The ceviche was wonderful. Beautifully tart and just a bit fishy so you know what what you're eating is from the ocean and not just lime and cilantro flavored texture. The short rib at first bite was alright. It really just tasted like any other short rib. However, when combining a bite of the mushrooms, the polenta, *and* the short rib: I got fully Ratatouille'd. Entrees came out. I got the halibut, my compatriot got the duck AND GUESS WHAT WE BOTH GOT RATTATOUILLE'D. Long story short, if you want an out of body experience similar to that of a rat eating cheese and a strawberry, reserve a table here at your earliest convenience (I just hope you don't mind ROSEMARY IN EVERYTHING) Pictured: a Ratatouille bite Not pictured (surprisingly): Rosemary
Very nice dinner. Recommend highly. Great atmosphere for a work dinner or date night. I really liked the hummus and pork chop. Separately, not together.
A bit noisy environment, but great food.
