I think a 2/5 is the nicest rating I could give all things considered. I have been to this restaurant 3 times, and I could say that each thing I ordered was average to mediocre. The pizza, being the main dish, was the most refined out of the menu, but even then you'd get an under-sauced pizza with mushy to even gooey dough and crust on the slice. With the prices of a medium pizza, it'd be a better use of your time to go to Marco's or Bellaroma, which have employees that don't openly flirt with each other at the counter. Secondly, the pasta there is horrendous. I understand that pasta is a "side" entrée at most pizza places. However, I believe that any customer should deserve a meal that has equal effort put in compared to the rest of the menu. On the 2 dishes I've ordered across my 3 visits, being the Cheese Ravioli, and the Lasagna, both shared 3 glaring flaws, starting with: 1: The cheese that is used on the pastas are not palatable, as they make the meal almost a chore to try to eat, as the stretchiness of the cheese and the taste of the cheese (akin to rubber) obstructs from the actual pasta, which is also lacking. 2: The same tomato sauce that is used on the pasta, pizza, garlic knots, mozzarella sticks, pretty much just everything on the menu uses the same bland stock jar of tomato sauce, almost as if they just pick it up right next door at Publix, just like their sweet tea and their non-fountain drinks. What makes the pasta "unique" enough to spend $14-18, when the materials right next door cost a fraction less? 3. The portioning of the meals is completely off, there is no reason why there should be more cheese and sauce than noodle and meat. On the Lasagna I ordered, the portion they gave was just 3 strips stacked on to each other, with sparsely layered meat and cheese. All buried under a wet blanket of their obnoxious cheese and jarred tomato sauce. I shouldn't have to stop eating my meal after being gorged on synthetic cheese. On the Cheese Ravioli, they just slap some frozen bagged cheese ravioli (5 actual raviolis) from Publix to boil, then believe it or not, they bury it with their favorite combo of processed cheese and tomato sauce. The restaurant's service in my experience wasn't bad, the drinks would come out relatively quick whenever the server wouldn't be on their phone. Wait times for food and appetizers are a bit long, even when the whole restaurant is empty. A slight throw-off in atmosphere is whenever the music in the dining area would just be silenced by the loud music from the workers in the back, but that's neither here nor there. Overall, the experiences would add up to a 2/5, but that doesn't mean the restaurant is bad or beyond saving, I still see potential in the dishes, for example, I thought the Margherita Pizza was well made, with the balsamic glaze and cheese. I believe there is room for improvement.
Came to this place with high expectations. Ordered the Bianca pizza XL. It tasted too sweet, it had like a spinach dip on it, not sure why if Bianca is not like that. I called with the hopes to exchange it or something I explained we didn’t like it, but they didn’t say anything. $20 wasted. No one ate it
Cute and cozy small place. Service and food were great. We ordered a large calzone, pasta, and dumplings (dessert). The pasta came with two garlic knots. The portion sizes were pretty big. The dessert dumplings were delicious and made fresh. Their draft beer was fresh and crisp. We will definitely be back.
Went in today to buy 2 chicken salads. I asked the young lady to please make sure the chicken was hot. When I got home, the chicken was completely cold, like they just took it out of the fridge and threw it on top of the lettuce. I wasted 30 dollars and had to throw it away. When i called in, they lied and said they heated up the chicken, and it got cold on the drive home. Never again!
