Went in for coffee and a place to study before my friend had her shift at the hospital. The young man behind the counter thought it would be hilarious to call me, “sir, because of my appearance (short haircut and attire). I didn’t know that blatant discrimination was trending. We told the server standing beside the tablet we were staying and sat at a table. He literally asked us to prepay for the coffee and her food. No other patrons were asked to prepay and no one else had any issues. This is not the first time we have been here, as I said, my friend works at the hospital close by. It appears as though this business would prefer to cater to Albanians, “straight” looking people, and not POC. Lastly, when I asked for our check, it was dropped on her tablet and I was told I had to stop studying and go to the counter to pay. What? We watched checks with cards brought up to the counter by the two servers. Don’t come here if you’re LGBTQIA, non-white, or not Albanian. You can literally see, hear and feel the disdain and disgust.
Horrible service, the servers think they making you a favor for serving you. Some of them on the phone, some eating and drinking in front of costumers and also JUDGING. They forget they are there to serve and that’s it. Do better !!!!
