Drinks are great. Chefs are great. Hospitality is average. This is a really neat spot along the river. Newburghs waterfront is really starting to make its mark around the Hudson Valley with a bunch of great restaurants and sights. Parking: Really hard to find parking at the waterfront on any busy night. Very crowded. But be patient sit around for a minute.
Good Italian restaurant that is on the expensive side.
The appetizers (Tuscan chicken & antipasti tray) were very good. The entrée was a different story. I had the Tomato Tagliettea was too salty, and the sauce was acidic. The burssell sprouts were burnt.
Definitely a restaurant that doesn’t know the area or what they’re doing. From poor ownership(who had multiple failed businesses prior) to poor management. Do not respect women or their options. This company only listens to men and doesn’t care about their employees. Very high turnover rate usually due to how employees are treated and completely screwed over. Executive chef drinks on the job all day, employees high all the time and owner has drug issues. They expect everything from their employees but don’t compensate for what’s needed/wanted. Food is mediocre and not what the area wants but doesnt matter because there is no direction and owner and chef always think they’re right. They claim to be like a “family” but it’s a VERY toxic company to work for. Know they’re struggling and push customers to make positive reviews. Out of all the restaurants on the waterfront this business has no clue what they’re actually doing and it will fail just like every other business this owner has had. I’m going to give it another year, maybe 2 MAX. (Sources from multiple current and past employees)
Wonderful newest place for brunch on the Newburgh waterfront. Great atmosphere outside. Good views of the water and the bridge. Excellent food. Good drinks and desserts. The weather was great today so you could not ask for anything more
They graciously seated us late on a Sunday evening. Food was great, very fresh. Thank you so much!
We had the most amazing time at Primo celebrating my sisters Bridal Shower. Everything from the food, drinks, service and atmosphere was absolutely perfect. Nicole, the event coordinator, was such a sweetheart and so easy to work with. She made sure we were well taken care of.
The food was good. The green salad could have been better. But the entrees were great and the server was helpful.
It's Restaurant Week until November 12th. Come and get some of their delicious food You won't be disappointed.
