Primo

Ordered their "signature " dish...pork tenderloin with mushroom sauce and mashed. Tenderloin was rather tuff, dry and chewy. Probably over cooked. Not worth $42. Pasta in my wife's dish was under cooked. Chicken portion in dish was hard to find. Finished with canollis for dessert and coffee. Coffee was horrible. Your local gas station has Primo beat. Cream served was whole milk. You can get a much better $200 meal for two all around Orlando.

Strictly a Pizza Review: tastes as if Peter Piper tried to go fancy but failed. It’s edible.

We went to Primos on Valentine’s Day with a reservation and we’re probably seated after about 10 minutes. The place is very clean with nice decor. We got a charcuterie board for an appetizer. In my opinion it could have more fruit and the breadstick was less appetizing than the cracker accompanying it. We had both picked main entrées from the Valentine’s Day menu, being the seafood ricotta, and the lamb. The lamb was a bit tasteless and pistachio was ruining the texture. We also got limoncello sour and Irish whiskey for drinks. Those were very nice and strong. The lemon cello had a lemon cream on it, which I would like to have in a can. We had a raspberry dessert that was on the Valentine’s Day menu. It was very interesting visually and texture wise and tasted great as well. The water service was surprisingly invisible to where I look away and my glass is full. We did agree to bread service when asked, but we never received it. Our meals were well timed though that might have been because we ordered our appetizers and entrées when we ordered our drinks however, when we finished those, we ordered a dessert which didn’t take very long to come out.

Server was great, nice cozy atmosphere. The burrata was amazing, everything is so fresh. Their pizza was good too. The seafood pasta is a little salty tho. But the handmade pasta still tastes good. Overall a good restaurant to go within the hotel.

I was extremely shocked at how terrible our service was. The salads and soups were amazing, but then we waited for well over an hour to get our meals. Or accompanying table had eaten and paid before our meals were even served (they had a different server). I asked our server, Jared if we were getting food soon and he said of course it’s coming. During that 45+ min wait he never came to ask if we would want refills or anything else. After I asked, he disappeared for another 20+ mins and then came out and the other members of the table asked if our food had been forgotten and he said no I can bring them out one at a time. He was rude and dismissive. Then the first two meals that came out were cold, two others were burnt and the “highly revered dish” was extremely underwhelming. I’ve had been service at a drive through of McDonald’s at midnight. I was looking forward to this highly renowned restaurant and the service was so incredibly bad that we are all very disappointed. We asked our server if he could explain why it took so long and again he was dismissive and rude. Wish we had never made the trip.
