Primal Steakhouse

Well this was a surprise. I just got back from an absolutely fabulous dinner at primal steakhouse. I had heard this place was pretty good and also reasonable so I had it on my list to try. Being as I had just had come into town from a long drive I thought I would give this place a try tonight. I was by myself this evening so I asked the Host if I could sneak in as I had not made a reservation. (Recommended) His name was “Tiny” Super cool and classy guy. The the name suits him perfectly. He gave me a nice table in the corner with an incredibly comfortable chair.. I ordered the shrimp scampi for starters. Huge shrimp that came prepared in a tasty garlic sauce with garlic toast that was extremely tasty. From my main course I had the 16 ounce prime New York smoked steak with a creamed horseradish sauce on the side. As a side dish I had the lobster mac & cheese. I have attached a couple of photos, trust me they don’t do it justice, the steak was absolutely exquisite. Seriously 10/10 So tasty and prepared perfectly with the smoky taste giving it a wonderful flavour complemented beautifully with the sauce on the side if you like. The lobster mac & cheese actually came with a 5 ounce lobster tail with the macaroni It was absolutely delicious. I had not one but two servers Looking after me and the service was top-notch with them always topping up my water or drink. The gentleman Andrew made some recommendations And was very personable as we discussed other steakhouses in Las Vegas and how they compared to this place. Arianna was also my server and she was excellent, Very friendly and personable and highly efficient. The service was so great I ended up tipping 30% which I very rarely do. The best part of the whole thing, is my meal came to $115. This was astounding to me as this same meal on the strip would’ve easily been double that. To top things off they had a man playing the violin Guitar accompaniment and it was absolutely excellent, gave the whole place a very warm and romantic vibe. He played some old Classics as well as some modern songs such as Parker McCallum much to my surprise. It was excellent. I will definitely be bringing my wife here. I did not have room for dessert however the options looked wonderful, crème brûlée and many other tasty looking indulgements, Next time for sure. Oh yeah, they had the coolest hoof shaped water glasses. Very cool. What a great experience, phenomenal staff, Entertainment, amazing food and a great atmosphere especially considering they are located just on the edge of Boulevard Mall. Don’t let that fool you this place is excellent. My highest recommendation.

Read a bunch of glowing reviews and knew I had to try this place for my birthday dinner. Understand from the very beginning, this place is NOT in the best location. But it is a very cool location in general and the inside more than makes up for the outside. Next let’s talk about the location itself. The interior is very well themed with medieval decor, candles and candle flame bulbs throughout. However the music…was just a miss. We walked in and music sounded like it was a 2000’s Spotify playlist and then turned into live music which we hoped would fit better to the theme but sounded more like a Starbucks live artist. Not a fan and took us right out of the theme. Then our food arrived and overall was…good. Let me summarize. The watermelon salad was very tasty! Highly recommend! Then my steak and au gratin potatoes arrived. The steak was well seasoned and tasty but the potatoes were a little bland and smothered with sour cream. Overall it was…good. Finally was the service, overall it was good but we were without water multiple times for extended periods of time. Also the manager walked past our table multiple times (knowing full well it was my birthday) and made zero attempt to check in or introduce himself but did seem to henpeck specific tables and single them out. Long story short, for the price it was there was good service overall and the food tasted good but not something I would hurry back for.

I ate at this place back in September 2023 for my birthday. Absolutely great service and wonderful atmosphere. I love the kinda dark goth vibe. The steak was rather expensive and pricey but I never complained about the quality of meat and lobster. Overall it was a great experience, but I don’t think I’d be back for these prices. Maybe… The waiters were absolutely terrific! Great service!

We had a great time, food was fantastic, bill was high (over $700 for 4 people including drinks, appetizers and a birthday desert they charge for) I absolutely HATE anyone telling me how good they are so they add their own tip. that is complete and utter arrogance and a scam. We will never return or recommend this restaurant. When the waiter presented us the large bill, he stated “don’t leave a tip, it’s already been added on, you don’t need to tip me twice” as he chuckles. 18% was added without asking us if we were that happy. I don’t recommend this restaurant unless you enjoy being told how much you should give a stranger for a job he’s already being paid for.

We went to celebrate our anniversary, Great service from Dominic and the staff. Great food, Lamb chops, seared scallops, chicken, sea bass were all great! I never wanted to lick so many plates clean! Highly recommend!!

Ehrlich gesagt fand ich das Essen nur durchschnittlich, gemessen am Preis jedoch nicht empfehlenswert. Für Vorspeise Bone Marrow, ein Glas Pini Grigio, ein 16Oz Steak mit Lobster Tail und Spinat als Beilage etwa $170. Da erwarte ich mir ehrlich gesagt mehr. Außerdem war es wahnsinnig kalt in den Räumlichkeiten. Der Service war gut und freundlich

Fantastic experience.

The food and service were phenomenal here. Some of the best lamb chops I've ever eaten. The bone marrow appetizer with bacon jam was delectable. Th chicken cordon Bleu was tender, moist, and flavorful. I'd definitely revisit next time I'm in Vegas. It is absolutely worth every penny.

Food was AMAZING, best quality,you can taste the Love & effort in every dish! Staff was incredibly sweet kind & very helpful. I can't wait to comeback !

We celebrated a friend's birthday, the place has a very beautiful atmosphere. Knights, armor, swords ️ delicious food and very out of the ordinary amazing drinks, friendly stuff. Just a beautiful memory The espresso martini was great. Highly recommend
