First off, I love the vibe and atmosphere of this restaurant. Definitely a great place to hang with friends or have small birthday dinner. The waitress we had was super nice and made sure my friend and I were taken care of the whole night. However, I wasn’t a big fan of my main entree “ Oxtail Surf and Turf”. It was just a bunch of overcooked cabbages that was drenched in sauce and two shrimps. The Oxtail were super tender though but did not really “wow” me in terms of the food. My favorite were the Oxtail empanadas, so I definitely recommend getting those. Another note, the lamb chops my friend got were bite-sized at best.. Don’t order it if you’re expecting it to be average size steakhouse lamb chops, rice paired with it was nothing special. Would I come here again ? Not really but if you like drinks and calm vibe go for it.

Food was highly spicy, waited long for the drinks, forgot my sauce in my to-go box, the receipts were wrong and the mac n cheese was nasty. Scenery was cute, staff was pleasant

Prey is a complete vibe. Went for Thursday ladies night the music was amazing; dj played all the new and old r&b hits. Food was so good, hot and fresh. Glady’s was our servicer, she was amazing. Very attentive and give great recommendations.

Nice setting, the host was very friendly and welcoming….the service was awful poor customer service from the waitress to the manager/bartender… had to ask for silverware and napkins several times before eating food, no refills on drinks , not coming to check if we needed anything….its definitely over hyped to be so pricey and not professional !! Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND

I went about a month ago … I paid like $52 for some shrimp Alfredo. Highly over priced. I had got some oxtail empanadas… terrible. Very little meat with no flavor in them. This is an all about vibe place. I waited 40 minutes for some lemons for my water … I’m pregnant .. it’s like the waitress was mad because I wasn’t ordering drinks. Oh and it’s all one bill … no splitting checks. Great location … basic food … great vibes

Prey was an interesting spot. A group of us went here for dinner. It’s located at the top of a plaza. It has nice set up with mood lighting and everything is, more or less, black. The website suggests a classy dress code, but when we got there, I noted plenty of people in t-shirts, etc. Food wise, the everything was good. My wife and I had the oxtail and lamb chops. The oxtail slid right off the bone. I found it interesting no side dishes came with the entrees though. That said, the mac n cheese was good. I left exceptionally full. If you review the menu, you will see things are pricey. We didn’t drink, so I can’t comment on that aspect. The servers were friendly and appeared to stay pretty busy. Atmosphere wise, the location was somewhat small, but does a good job of holding a large number of people. They had a DJ when we arrived. While the music selection was great, lots of old school Hip Hop, it was way too loud. I couldn’t hear the majority of the conversations that occurred at our table. I noticed most people at other tables had to lean over the tables to speak with each other. Overall, I would return.

The shrimp and grits were amazing. Like none I've ever had before. The non alcoholic drink was amazing. The waiter just asked me the flavor and the bar tender went in. The place is a bit small but it's really nice in the inside. The atmosphere is crazy. Will return again.

The food was AMAZING I ordered the pasta my girlfriends ordered the lamb chops. The food had wonderful flavor. The presentation was nice. Our server was named Noah and he was a delight. He was definitely an asset to the safe at this location. I will add this to my must haves every time I come to Houston. My pasta was 51$ to include at 20% gratuity to total 64$. The chairs are no good. Very cheap unstable and low compared to the tables. I guess they are waiting for someone to fall out of it and Sue them before they replace them.
