It's not as bad as the Castle Street store (more staff, although it seems to change a lot) but does seem to struggle with running out of the same items every day. In a break with tradition, sometimes the filling wrapped around the outside of the sandwich and the bread on the inside.
Excellent Pret, got both Cappuccino and Ice coconut late, many seats and well serviced.
The food is delicious and tastes like it's made from quality ingredients. It's a bit expensive for just a run of the mill week day lunch for the office, but not a bad option if you're visiting the city and want to have a healthy, tasty lunch. There are a variety of foods on the menu, which changes every season, and includes options for vegetarians and vegans. This particular branch on Princes Street has a wide open space at the food counters and in front of the tills so it doesn't get as crowded as some other branches when you're trying to grab your food and pay. There aren't too many seats if you want to eat in though.
Blander than bland coffee and staff curt
VERY expensive Pret.. Too rich for my blood now.
