Pounce Cat Cafe

Booked the 4pm-5pm time slot, walked in and stood around 5 minutes before we were greeted. Got a coffee and hot apple cider. Coffee was old and cold, cider was nasty. Tasted like hot water with a tiny bit of flavor. Cat room was nice. Most were sleeping but there were enough to play with for about 20 minutes before we decided to leave.

It is the a PURRFECT place to hang out!

The best place to cuddle with kitties, have a yummy pastry and coffee, or a beer or wine. Friendly service and great cat merchandise. Cute cats for adoption.

MY ratings and evaluations are anticipatory based on my wanting to visit on my next trip to Savannah, after reading reviews and observing photos. Its my belief that impressing high expectations upon a destination give them a reason to excell and a strong desire to "earn their marks, during your visit. Everyone can have a bad day and I have changed my evaluations after a "less than visit, resulting in a satisfactory agreement from both not being attained. Remember to be as good a guest as you wish them be a good host.

Cats + kittens! What's not to love?! I loved all the cats! There was only one lonely scone to be offered - I could never take the last one, could you? That's rude. Owners need to pay better attention to details perhaps? I was given a hot apple cider whose lid was not on securely, so...half of the cider wound up poured onto my lap when I tried to drink it :-( One (or two?) of the cats vomited (as cats do) and one staff member stepped in it without noticing. It happens! There was no paper towels in the bathroom. In summary: be extra careful with your beverage, watch where you step and HAVE FUN with the kitties!!! and give them loving homes.

Give me a reply Ashely. I’ve read all these reviews and I feel bad for these cats now. Everything was perfect except for the red headed owner, Ashley. She was stuffing her face with food most of the time. But when the decisions for adopting came she mattered SO MUCH, right? Had one encounter with her and all she did was correct us, and was very hostile when we were looking to adopt a pair of kittens. You can kindly let people know things, or you can be like her. We live in a 2 bedroom apartment which is a pretty good size. On the form to adopt it says, “will your cat be indoors, outdoors, or inside/outside.” We obviously put inside/outside because I assume that’s what you would want for a healthy cat life, right? They do thrive in the outdoors versus indoors 24/7. Anyways, she said they only let inside only owners adopt. When she said this I told her we really only put that so that we seemed more suitable. I told her our living situation and said we would take them on walks too. We obviously wouldn’t let our kittens roam around our apartment complex. But she maintains her rude demeanor and replies,”Y’all can come back in a few days.” First off why add which kind of cat you would have on the form if you only allow inside cats? Her adding those to the form made us question what they want and made us not eligible. And second what would coming back in a few days change? Just gotta get lucky not to see her I guess. If your an owner be nice to your customers. No matter who they are. You definitely don’t seem like an owner Ashley.

Staff was very rude and was very shady about the adoption process. My wife and I have gone to the shelter affiliated with the cafe in Savannah with no problems. But when it came to us going to the cafe to attempt to adopt a cat they were very shady on the reason that they denied us. They also waited until the day before we were supposed to pick up the can’t that we’d picked out to tell us the news. I would not recommend adopting from them, you’d be better going to the affiliated animal shelter.

Very nice foster/ adoption facility. Coffee was good. My family enjoyed themselves helping to socialize the cats by playing with the cats.

Great place to interact with the kitties! We adopted one and she is more of a people cat than I have ever had! Always wants to be in your lap which I think is from her interacting with people so much at pounce!
