Porto’s is an LA classic. Their bakery items are always fresh and well priced. The potato balls are my personal favorite. There can be quite a long line, which does move quickly, but sometimes can be a turn off. But for he cheap prices and good authentic food, I’d say it’s well worth the wait. The coffee and fresh juices are often overlooked, but there some of the best drinks you can get in town, and once again it’s such a great price. They have tons of seating available, it may be a bit loud, but you should be able to easily find seating.
There is always a line waiting because the food is Really good!!! We traveled to Argentina but we didn't find empanadas as delicious as these. YOU ALSO NEED TO TRY THE CUBAN SANDWICH and the potato balls. ALSO, el cortadito, a small coffee. It is the most balanced flavoured coffee I have ever tried.
