Our waiter Emperor was wonderful. The drinks were well executed, the food was delicious and the ambiance was quaint. We’ll definitely be back to try other things on the menu.

Atmosphere, food and service excellent.. A table of 4 and everyone ordered something different. The presentation was beautiful and food was delicious.. Egg plant was stacked high with pasta on the side, bolognese was delicious, chicken portafino excellent and the special of lobster ravioli with scallops & shrimp to die for.. The extra was they serviced homemade bread with their dipping sauce I highly recommend this restaurant.. Wednesday’s they have a piano player so be sure to make a reservation.. Enjoy

This was our first time at Portofino Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar, but it won’t be our last. We came on a spur of the moment decision, and found everything to be wonderful. For a Monday evening, they were very busy but still the service, atmosphere, and especially the food, were excellent. This is authentic Tuscan cuisine, with a very fine Chef-owner. They offer a great selection of Italian wines, which we haven't seen at other local restaurants, bars or stores. We started with a cup of the Tuscan Bean soup (delish!), and a Cesar salad (also delish!). My husband had the lasagna, which was as good as our waiter, Chris promised it would be. I had the grouper, which was absolutely perfect. As a bonus, they serve a home made focaccia bread, with pesto seasoned olive oil. FABULOUS!! I’m hoping they’ll begin selling the bread because it’s well worth bringing home. They have a large parking lot, are easy to get to, and are definitely worth checking out. Highly recommended!

Recommended by a friend to try this Portofino’s in Myrtle Beach, SC. Made reservations, and glad we did, as it was a full house. Our server was great & had been there since they opened just over a year ago. They bring out bread with dipping oil, nice touch. After we ordered our food & wine, had some bread, and enjoyed the scenery. Their place is a little loud, and for me, could use some sound baffles. Then the grouper came out - Grouper Tuscany, a special that day, slightly crusted on the outside & tender inside on a bed of noodles - wish I had more noodles! Then we shared the tiramisu, and glad we did, as it was a huge bowl! And very delicious. So just as my friend recommended to me, I’ll recommend to you - come & try this out. Stairs to enter, did not see ramp, so not ADA accessible. Parking was tight & glad a truck left when we were arriving, or I would have parked down the street. Wheelchair accessibility: Not ADA accessible.

It's such a wonderful place for dinner. The Rosemary bread they served was one of the best I have ever had. I experienced the finest service in Myrtle.
