Portillo's Tampa

Just like the Portillo’s in Brandon, this place is always a good place for great food. During this visit, I tried the sausage and beef sandwich and ordered a side of melty cheese to pour over the sandwich. So freaking good!

So so good. Need to go. Take your family or friends..

Always love the food and atmosphere here. And the cake shakes are crazy good. Only complaint is how stuffed I am after lol. Great place would definitely recommend.

Nostalgia hit when we saw the sign as we had gone to the original in Chicago. Does this one live up to the OG? Mostly, yes. The hot dogs were delicious, bacon cheeseburger fresh and delightful, and the fries were fresh and crispy. The chocolate cake shake is fantastic. Don't come here and not order it...you'll be sorry. The one thing I wasn't completely sold on was that the chocolate cake by itself was good, but not Chicago Portillo's good. Wasn't as fresh and just something was missing. Great as a shake though.

Used to be great but since new management/ownership quality has gone down big time

My family & I are very frequently costumers at Portillo’s. At least we used to be, We attended a dinner at this establishment tonight. What used to be a great outing was filled with disappointment and disgust! We hear there is new management, Unfortunately this change is very noticeable. The cups have changed along with the straws for the worse. The soda machine is self serve and taste like old flat warm soda. It was very warm inside , The food was good for the most part although my Italian beef did not have the normal amount of meat. They are rearranging the facility as well, The staff seems very upset with these changes they are no longer happy and joyful like previous visits. Moral of the story I hope the new management see the negative impact these changes have caused many costumers were commenting on the changes while we were in the establishment. #ifitaintbrokedontfixit.
