If I could give zero stars I absolutely will do! Horrible and slow service. Food wasn't good at all.

The vibe here is really amazing. Lots of space and people visit here for drinks and food. There are a good amount of varieties of pizzas, pastas and some appetizers for everyone including Vegans and Vegetarians as well(Labelled as well). Tried out the mozzarella, that was what had attracted me to come to this place. It was alright, not as great as I expected, but still good. The pizza was pretty good. Also there are lots of varieties of drinks like cocktails which are unique. So definitely worth a try.

The food was unimpressive with really small portions. Also, attention could have been better - but I understand they were busy.

We had a pretty miserable experience here. After 15 minutes of waiting to be seated they told us we didn’t have a reservation even though we showed the email confirmation. Then the waiter/host just sat us at a random table in frustration (which we were grateful for & we could see he wasn’t being supported by other staff) Half an hour later he came back and said our order ticket had been lost and asked what we had ordered. The salad came and it was dirty lettuce with walnuts. That was it... Our waters were never refilled and my husband had to go to the bar to order another beer as well as to ask for our check after we had eaten. It was our worst experience of dining in Jersey City...

so i went to porta on friday january 26th and i was having a good time with some friends. eventually when i went outside for some fresh air i had a little sneeze attack and after i had that, some of portas security kicked me out even though i didn’t bother anyone! so if you have allergies stay away from this because they’ll kick you out if you sneeze or blow your nose to yourself!! they will kick you out!!!!!! !i even told them i had allergies and they kicked me out without prior warning they told me to come this way luckily i had friend to walk with me bc if they weren’t there i would’ve been alone! i’ll never be going back there because of this event porta needs new rules don’t kick people out because of their allergies!

Loved this place. They have good cocktails and food. I had white door cocktail and it was very good. For starters we had Broccoli Rabe which was Okay. The pizza Winter Betty was delicious. All over this place is a good spot to chill with friends and family.
