Out of what I wanted to order

One of the best fast food chicken sandwiches around.

If I could give it zero stars, I would. Customer service was absolutely awful. Went through the drive thru, I was told chicken would take a few minutes to be ready, I waited more than 30 minutes for my order. Went inside only to be ignored and treated poorly. When asked they said if I didn’t have my receipt they couldn’t do anything about it, which I know my order could be pulled up. At the end with horrible attitude they realized they had given someone else my order 30 minutes prior. Didn’t even apologize, just threw the food at me. Will never go there again.

Now, this Popeyes chicken was very good. It was so good I wanted to get more. I stopped here on my way back from Myrtle Beach. The customer service was ok, meaning it wasn't anything of major concern but could be better with warning of condiments or if it is necessary to stir the premium drink mixture. Sneaky customer service on the little things. The location was good, roomy parking space, and they had a few shade trees. I ordered the 6pc spicy chicken wings- 6pc original hot wings- and 3 pc chicken meal with mixed meat - 1 leg-1 thigh-1 wing and 2 sides Mac n cheese - mashed potatoes with gravy & apple pie-premium strawberry lemonade. The chicken was juicy and crispy. I mean, cooked perfectly The original hot wings are worth getting. Crunchy and hot, they wasn't dry but cooked just right. The sweet and spicy chicken wings were cooked perfectly too. The only problem with those were presentation. It looked like someone picked the meat out of one, and I didn't get my ranch dipping sauce. Other than that, they were good. The Mac n cheese had more cheese than macaroni. It was like having a side of hoop cheese. I love cheese but not like this. The mashed potatoes with gravy were just ok, nothing to brag about because the gravy was really thin with a watery taste. I set them to the side and didn't til later on. The apple pie I did not like. It tasted raw, and the inside looked raw. It wasn't good for me. The biscuit was overly cooked to the point it was crunchy and dry..one person started choking that tried to eat it. The premium strawberry lemonade was great in taste. Whoever made it did not stir the strawberry mixture, this made it taste like unsweetened lemonade. I opened the cup, and sure enough, they didn't mix it. Once I did, it was worth it! This meal was around $23 My family and I took a few pictures here too.

Warning, avoid this place! They owe me stars for my visit to this Popeyes. Last visit here, the online app showed the store was closed yet we could clearly see people going in as we drove by. This time the app worked but the people inside would NOT work. Of the 5 people behind the counter, only one was even moving. And this woman moved so slow that all of us waiting at the counter just stood there astonished that she didn't fall over and just die. On top of this, she was beyond rude. Several customers would come in, see this behavior then just turn around and leave. I would have left too if the mobile app hadn't worked and required my payment ahead of my visit. This whole experience was so sad.
