My order was a: "two can dine for $11.99 five piece chicken two sides and three biscuits." A friend of mine picked The order up for me... With no apparent need to look into the box; but when it arrived "to me" I got a box full of fries and I do mean full. My side were intact besides my red beans and rice should have been renamed to "rice and bean juice" and the disgusting part they were sour!!! That because my friend lived way across town I just resided to eat the rice and bean juice and coleslaw but after tasting the rice and bean juice I didn't bother to even taste the coleslaw but I called Popeyes and gave them a piece of my mind on just how disgusted I was and very disappointed because I am a fan of Popeyes today they serve me an injustice and probably will still go to Popeyes but they just need to fire that whole staff.
The younger woman who took our order was wonderful, I wish I had gotten her name. The chicken wings were on point, everything was super fresh and tasty.
I typically receive good food from this Popeyes but recently I got a strawberry biscuit and it was burnt. It was dark brown but they still served it.
Service was good and people are friendly.
My wife ordered a 2 piece, and I ordered a bacon cheese chicken sandwich. He chicken was hot, but extremely oily/greasy as if they did not drain them well. My chicken was not as hot and was the same oily/greasy batter. Also, there was so much batter I had to remove it so could taste the chicken. Once I removed the thick sections of batter I had maybe half or less chicken left. Made me think of the old Wendy's commercials where they used to ask Where's the beef? That was in reference to other hamburger chains....mine question would be in this case Where's the chicken! Service was decent. Tables needed to be cleaned off.
My first visit to a Popeye's! I was very pleased with the flavor of the sweet and spicy wings and the mashed potatoes. I was greeted, but then when I was ordering and asked the girl what comes with the meal....she said any side. I asked what did they have and instead of telling me....she replied "it's up there!" I wasn't wearing my glasses so I couldn't see the selections very well. I feel if a customer asks....an employee could point at the menu and read them off. Just an extra nice helpful tip for those who may be elderly....or seeing impaired. I will definitely go back to try other things from the menu.....but probably thru the drive thru.
Brought my teenage son here for a late dinner. I got a chicken sandwich, he got a chicken sandwich combo meal with macaroni. The sandwiches were good, hot and fresh. The macaroni was half full and not great. The girl who took our order was nice. Although while we were eating in the restaurant there seemed to be an altercation with some of the employees. There was yelling and cussing and sounded like one person quit and walked out. Made it uncomfortable for us as guests. Very inappropriate and unprofessional. But hey, it's popeyes. Not a 5 star restaurant here.
