Nice spot with good staff but the food is what you could find at any Mexican restaurant across the US. With how good Baja Mexican style food is in San Diego, it’s hard to comeback to a place with such average food

Ponce's is one of our family favorites! Food is always great, the happy hour $5 for 3 tacos is amazing! Happy hour does end at 5pm, so you may need to ditch work early to partake.

A staple in the Kensington neighborhood of San Diego, Ponce’s is good old home cooking Mexican at its finest! Friendly staff, great food, full bar and just a very comfortable homey vibe. Parking lot seems to be usually full, but I have never had trouble finding street parking (metered or non-metered)
