Pollo Tropical

It was cool. I was looking for some Spanish food. I miss the Dominican spots in NYC. It was more like a chipotle vibe, fast food joint. That cilantro sauce tho. Delish Customer service was nice.

A good place to get a great Sandwich near the Orlando Airport As of September 2023, there are 138 Pollo Tropical restaurants in the United States and, I believe, Florida has a majority of these. This chain was founded in 1988. Its headquarters are in Doral, Florida and it is best known for marinated and grilled chicken and various sides including black beans and rice, mojo roast pork, and more. This particular location was on the west side of Semoran Blvd about 1-mile north of the Orlando International Airport. It is in a stand-alone building with a drive-through window and a parking lot between the entrance and the main street. The restaurant was hip-looking outside with pastel colors and nice palm tree graphics and very bright inside with about 20 tables with chairs and tile floor. It was clean inside. You order and pay at the counter and wait for your food to be freshly prepared. I ordered the Cuban Sandwich. It was ready in about 5-10 minutes and cost about $9 for just the sandwich. It was absolutely delicious. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I plan to visit this restaurant in general and the location, in particular in the future. I recommend it to my fellow travelers.

I've never been to this Pollo before but it's definitely the best one. The food and service were great. I'll be back before my next flight.
