Nice vibe, cool location, great coffee
The food and drinks were fresh and well prepared there was a bit of confusion when standing at the doorway with who was getting take away and who wanted a table - service was very very friendly but our food took over 30 minutes to arrive and when it did no one came back to ask if the food was ok / did we want more drinks etc. We took away some pastries and they were gorgeous- I wouldn’t queue for somewhere but since the queue was gone we popped in adhoc. Weekdays off-peak times would be better
Fantastic coffee and a lovely vibe. Almond croissant is stunning, chocolate maybe not the best choice.
Incredible bakery, average coffee, sub-par service. Pollen does the best bread but you can get better coffee from Just Between Friends in Ancoats. Pollen always passes the vibe check though as it’s always full of friendly locals and their cute puppies! Parking: The closest parking is free street parking but spots are incredibly hard to find. Wheelchair accessibility: There’s no steps to enter the building and to get to Pollen from street level, there is a ramp (in addition to the stairs) which lead down to the marina
Fantastic breakfast and lunch menu. Desserts are tasty as well.
Very nice place to visit.
Soooo good, freshly baked goods daily, what else do you want. Everything we tried was delicious pastry’s nice and flaky. Cakes deliciously rich in flavour and moist. Salmon on toast fresh from the kitchen, really really yummy and also plated very nicely. Everything as expected . Massive queue on the weekend we went but kind of expected that. Took some cookies for the train journey home which I was soooo happy to have while sitting in a full and stuffy train.
