Nice bread and baked goods. The place was extremely busy, many students and young people. Nice atmosphere.

Modern cafe in a good location in Manchester. Pastry was really good, so was the coffee. Service also friendly.

Love a morning trip to Pollen to try brilliant seasonal pastries and have a breakfast bun.

Incredible pastries and nice cafe, but the coffee was shocking, very weak and milky. Hate to see it.

Aesthetic Cafe in Manchester with housemade sourdough and pastries that you should visit “Follow IG + 小紅書 @anjibelly,有更多美食分享哦 ” •Basque burnt cheesecake £4.5 (⭐️6.8/10) This gorgeously burnt surface attracted our attention once we entered the shop The tip of the cake was slightly silky and custardy brimmed with a hint of vanilla flavour , but the flavour from the cheese was subtle . My friend said it also burst with egg flavour, overall it was still a good cake! ( but since we had the best ver of basque cheesecake in Spain few days ago, so we were not fully satisfied by this haha ) •Egg breakfast bun £9 (⭐️8/10) Assembled with soufflé-like egg , watercress , kimchi-mayo ️, and the housemade soft sourdough bun , what a great combo! The texture of the egg is kind of like a sturdy Chinese steamed egg, soft and quite fluffy✨. Paired nicely with the toasted bun, soft floury inside, and crispy outside. Worth trying! •Almond croissant £4.5 (⭐️7.5/10) A giant almond croissant topped with a generous amount of almond flakes, gave it a very nutty taste . Compliments beautifully with the flaky buttery croissant. Pollen Bakery ▪️42 Aytoun St, Manchester M1 3GL ▪️Cotton Field Wharf, 8 New Union St, Manchester M4 6FQ ⭐️ : 7.5/10 : £10-20

The pastries and coffee were top notch, the best I’ve had in Manchester, but I also lost my wallet there a couple of weeks ago and the team went above and beyond to locate and contact me. Super grateful.

We've been here twice now. The first time the receptionist forgot to change my latte to oat milk when I ordered it. I still think the environment looks cute and cosy, so I've come twice which is definitely a bad decision. This time when I asked if the chocolate cake was the only dessert they had and the girl said yes, but later I saw someone came in after me had Basque. And they didn’t give us fork until we asked for our dessert. Even worse he expected 2 people to share 1 fork so only gave us 1 fork lol. Won't be coming back as they don't care about their customers. (Two stars for the super hot barista)
