Such an amazing experience. Can't wait to go back. I do recommend the fruit salad item beside the poached plates.
Bring back the cinnamon bun French toast
Although we wait almost a hour to get the food which looks too much, food and coffee were so delicious and amazing.
Love it. Funky little place with delicious, eclectic brunch foods.
Really friendly and welcoming staff and a nice room are the plusses. Pros quickly end here, but I have to commend the kitchen and servers for doing an excellent job. The vegan options lacked and came with pretty steep upcharges, and were mediocre, but I realise vegan food is not the focus. Nonetheless, it was underwhelming and overpriced, as a chef myself I fully understand what goes into the labour and costing of these items and it feels like punishment just for being vegan. Vegan food is cheaper, especially when you make it in house like the chickpea omelette. The room is very loud despite soundproofing, probably due to the long narrow shape. I also found it very chilly inside. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options abound, since veggies can eat eggs. Options drop dramatically if you are vegan or GF unless you pay steep upcharges. Dietary restrictions: Obviously not a focus at this restaurant and more of an afterthough. Kid-friendliness: We didn't bring kids, but I wouldn't recommend it. When we went there was a large table of extremely loud dudebros out for brunch. To us, it felt like they had just kept the party going from the night before.
The food was absolutely, positively, excellent. I had the Eggs Benedict over "crab cakes". My goodness was the hollandaise superb! Perhaps the best version of Eggs Benedict I've ever had. The only concern was that my coffee was never refilled. I shared a meal with my friend who suggested the joint and I'm glad he did.
