Great atmosphere, lots of variety in painting options, and I love the clay bar area now. Staff are always friendly. Food/drinks are overpriced for what they are as the only criticism.
Play with clay went out of their way to help me get my dogs footprint made ❤️ I will forever be grateful for them
We had a work group date here on the pottery wheels. What a fantastic experience from start to finish. Great environment, amazing and fun instructor, just a perfect wat to spend time with friends. I highly recommend Play with Clay to anyone looking for a fun time out
The clay bar is super cute. Yes, prices are high, but it has a great atmosphere back there. The staff were very nice!
Beyond disappointed in my last experience here. I went here last year and it was amazing, so I was super excited to go back to celebrate my birthday. We had a reservation for the clay bar, and had to wait one hour until a table was ready for us as “people were taking longer than expected”. Really poor management to start. When we were finally seated, service was scarce and slow, but the drinks and food were great when they did finally arrive, which is the only reason for the 1 star. It would have been 2 if one of our martinis wasn’t poured on the table and our belongings. But that was nothing compared to what’s next. As for the painting experience, the selection was quite minimal, but we all found something we liked. The reason for my rating came when I picked our 3 pieces up. My piece, which had a light pink background, had a black streak in the middle of it. When I asked the associate how that would have happened, they said that in the glazing process there is paint left in the glaze from previous pieces and it must have got on it then. I was speechless. One of their employees ruined my piece, which took hours to make and was not cheap to do, and the solution I was offered was to “try to colour match with some acrylic paint”. It’s a mug. How do you wash a mug with acrylic paint on the outside? I was so upset and distracted by this that I didn't realize until I got home that my friend’s piece had a chunk missing out of it. I couldn’t believe it. I will certainly never be returning to this location, and I encourage you to save your money and look elsewhere for this experience.
Play with Clay's Clay Bar is a cool place for a Saturday night!
Thanks for your help with the birthday party, minimal effort required on my part
A great place to visit and chill with friends! The prices for painting are very reasonable as well. (Below is a before and after of what you can expect glazed pottery to look like)
My husband and I found this gem today and had a blast painting and enjoying a drink at the Clay Bar, it’s such a wonderful spot and the service is on point, also the drinks! 100% recommended
