We love all PLANTAs! We always get Bang Bang Broccoli. Their drinks are yummy and pretty.
One of my favourite restaurants in Toronto. Dishes are considerably innovative and always tasty. Some dishes are definitely better than others, but I appreciate how they keep on developing and playing with new ideas. It may get busy on some nights and you may get seated at a table too close to other guests’ (some of their tables are just too close to each other), which I find a bit uncomfortable at times.
Loved the Dan Dan Noodles and Truffle fried rice. Delicious
The place is a vegan's dream. There were plenty of good food options, and the ambiance was excellent! The only thing we did not enjoy were the cocktails. We sampled all five cocktails on the menu, and all were a little too sweet
I was excited to try this plant-based restaurant but I was a bit disappointed. I found the food a bit plain. My comments would be ; sauce too liquid for the chicken mushroom, not enough sauce in the bao, way too much kamut topping in the dan dan noodles. Sushis were good, and garlic fried rice was good as well but 24$ is a lot for rice, even with truffle. I also had a dirty martini which wasn’t dirty at all, tasted way too much of alcohol. I unfortunately wouldn’t go back to Planta. Space is nice tho and service was on point.
Great ambience and location. Good option for vegan lovers. The quantity could be a bit more though ;)
Great food.. and service is good as well. The Dan-Dan noodles and sushi are totally worth it. The sushi has been well- crafted with great to taste and flavour. It indeed is a haven for sushi- lovers, especially on Mondays. they have sushi for quite a price . Must try.. even Japan doesn’t serve such a delight of vegan sushi. It’s such a steal, this place.
