Being vegetarian it’s tough finding fine dining places with vegetarian options. This place fit the bill PERFECTLY! The food was exquisite as well as the atmosphere! Our waiter Jorge was attentive. He not only explained the dish, but also the portion sizes for the different dishes. This was helpful in deciding whether to share or not! Ashley, the store manager, was also so polite and explained how they’re opening ones near us in NVA! I 1000% recommend this restaurant! Dietary restrictions: They asked if we had any food allergies. Since everything is made fresh to order, they could accommodate any allergies.

Had the Maki Monday special, all-you-can-eat sushi. My non vegan friends brought me here because they love it so much. All the sushi was delicious, my favorite was the spicy tuna roll. Was impressed by the service. A bit dark but adds to the ambiance. Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan Dietary restrictions: Everything is vegan, I think has gluten-free options Parking: Across the street is a paid parking garage

When they first opened the food wasn't as good, but now the flavors are much, much, much better for the same dishes. The Planta App is convenient although I had some problems adding a gift card to the app, so I had to ask the manager to manually use the card. The managers at the Ft Lauderdale location are very professional and very nice - they aim to please. I have been at the South Beach Coconut Grove, W Palm Beach, Ft Lauderdale, Los Angeles, and DC. Regarding customer service, my experience at DC, LA and Ft. Lauderdale have been the best. This is an excellent place for takeout and dining in!

Our meal here was extremely hit or miss. The sushi could have been amazing - would probably have been the best vegan sushi I ever had in my life - if they didn't horribly mess up the rice. Frankly I cannot believe that rice was allowed to leave the kitchen, it was overcooked to mush. The watermelon tuna and eggplant unagi were mind blowing, but were greatly diminished by being served on terrible rice. The Singapore noodles were almost too salty to eat, but overall the dish was fine. A member of our party ordered the chili tofu and said it was greatly disappointing, and the first time in their entire life they have ever sent something back into the kitchen. Their first bite of food was a whole rehydrated shittake mushroom that hadn't been seasoned or cooked, and the rest of the dish didn't fare much better. Their replacement dish was the kimchi fried rice, which was also fine. But I could have made it better myself, which is not a thought that should occur to me at a restaurant charging $25 for a plate. The one stand-out dish at our table was the truffle udon noodles, which were decadent and delicious. And yet, I had the same dish at the Bethesda Planta and I remember theirs being better. The bubble waffle sundae for dessert was certainly a treat, I never thought I'd be able to enjoy a bubble waffle or taro ice cream as a vegan and I'm thankful I got the chance. Though I do think the strawberry syrup overwhelmed the delicate flavor of the taro a bit, it was still a lovely way to end the meal. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt they were just having an off night, maybe I'll come back and try again someday, because I feel like this meal has so much potential.

This is Vegan fine dining at its best. Even if you are not vegan this is worth the trip! The Bang Bang Broccoli is a must try. You truly can't go wrong with anything. If we had more time we would have come again to try other items. This will be a favorite dining memory of our trip!
