Plank Seafood Provisions

Came in for the oyster, happy hour. Even at half-price, the oysters were incredibly small, and not very flavorful. We also had the shared redfish ceviche, which was pretty good. It didn’t dance across my mouth like the price would’ve indicated, but it was OK. Just a very small serving for a “shared” plate. Service was good, actually really good. Probably the best thing about the place. Given the number of people in the restaurant, at the time we were there, on a Friday, I felt like something was wrong. It was sparsely populated. The kitchen was actually fairly quick on the oysters, and the ceviche that we ordered, But for some reason, it took them 25 minutes to make our salads. Like I said, the food was OK, but not worth the price for the portions. Yet our waiter was incredibly good and attentive. He apologized to us for the wait on the salads, which was not his fault. I saw the cook making our salads 25 minutes after we finished the oysters and ceviche. Meh. The menu items look great, but the delivery of the dishes we ordered was absolutely not worth the price.

The staff and food were great! Their oysters were extremely fresh and the staff was impressive with their knowledge of ingredients.

Great happy hour prices. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Oysters are properly shucked.

Only had some small dishes at the bar so can't speak for the entire menu but very happy with what we had. They have a decent selection of raw oysters that were fresh and delicious. The clam chowder with a Thai twist was fantastic. Refreshing change from standard clam chowder. The bartender makes some great martinis too.

The seafood tower was delicious! Great variety of seafood choices and ended up trying something new and loving it!

The crab soup was decent, but I was disappointed by the Golden beet salad and the shrimp. The flavors were a little too experimental to me, adding grapefruit to a beet salad. Also, the shrimp was just bland. I expected a bit more from a seafood place. I enjoyed the atmosphere though.

Beautiful interior design, the plates and cutlery were also quite unique. The food was not exactly what I'd hoped for given the price point. The server was attentive, but it took quite some time for the food to come. Definitely good, but not remarkable. Would return if convenient.
