Love this place! It’s so good. But not vegan friendly.
Fine brunch food but quite expensive for what it is. Brunch was delicious and filled our hunger, but it wasn't the best we've had. I do appreciate that they have gluten free pancakes, but they were just 'fine'. Vegetarian options: Pancakes are about it. Add eggs for better balance. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pancakes and veracruz eggs will work.
This is our favorite breakfast place in the Sfbay area. Get the pistachio latte; the s Flight of sweet pancakes, the French toast, or (my favorite) the Chorizo Scramble. The breakfast potatoes are unmissable, too. Get there early to beat the line.
Love the french toast here for brunch... The service is amazing.
long story short, this had to have been the absolute worst fried chicken and waffles combo i've ever ordered and forced myself to eat. the fried chicken itself was over cooked, extremely greasy and it seemed as though it had been sitting there for a while because i noticed that the waffle was soggy and it seemed like it had soaked up the oil from the chicken on top of it. i didn't like the sauce that they provided on the side when i tried it. the order came with guacamole which made zero sense to me as not one ingredient on the plate needs guacamole as a side. lastly, the bacon was also overcooked to the point where it crunched and broke apart when i bit it. i'm not sure if this was a one off error for the dish and i could go on about the issue but ultimately it was the overcooked and underflavored chicken, the soggy waffle and the random guacamole with borderline burnt bacon. i was extremely disappointed with my overall breakfast experience.
Usually there is a line and for a good reason: this place executes well on pretty much everything we ordered. Waffles were crisp, fried chicken was crisp, the French toast with custard was mindblowingly good.
Literally no vegan options, I've never been somewhere in sf that can't at least make accommodations. When asked if there were options they just said "No" so we had to go somewhere else
