I've been a loyal pj's lover since childhood, always our go- to for birthday lunch or dinner.
Amazing service and food. Showed up in the last hour and had the green Chilli burger with fried. Hit the spot! Food and atmosphere was so good. Highly recommend and plan to return and try more dishes
Traditional Reno restaurant with long-term employees that seem to know a lot of the patrons and very welcoming
My absolute go to place ..Has Been since it changed from Froggies, and become PJs..It was a gas station ,a long ,long ,time ago. Love the outdoor dining..
I lived close to PJ'S years ago. I was in the neighborhood and stopped in for lunch. Has a blue cheese burger with fries. Very good! They still have it!
I travel frequently as a travel nurse, and always stop in when I'm in the area.
We had a late breakfast here (around 10amish) during the week and it was great! Very lively diner/bar with friendly staff. Their online menu already has great options but there is a "secret" breakfast menu you get at the table with even more! If you're looking for a local alternative to a Black Bear Diner I'd really recommend coming here :)
Little hangry when I took my mom & son for breakfast. Another couple was sat before us in corner. Confronted server/host, she mentioned large party made the area tight for high chair. (She was right) She was a great server & still handled our table respectfully despite the dispute. Can't say how many servers stink these days. She was on top of her game & I APPRECIATE THAT! Food was awesome! Made up for my last visit. Hard navy bean soup & my FAVORITE mimosa was half full with 90 oj.
A Morning of Mixed Impressions at PJ & Co. Restaurant & Saloon As the sun rose over Reno, I found myself seated at PJ & Co. Restaurant & Saloon, after about a 15 minute wait, a local establishment with a reputation for a solid breakfast. The service was prompt, but getting refills on drinks was definitely lacking. The menu presented a huge variety of breakfast classics, and I settled on the biscuits and gravy with a side of eggs over medium. The dish was well prepared and filling. While the menu quoted on price the actual price was several dollars more. I didn't make a fuss but it was off-putting. Ambiance-wise, the restaurant felt crowded. The decor is a combo of sport items that hinted at nostalgia. In summary, PJ & Co. offered a fair breakfast experience. It was neither disappointing nor exceptional; it was comfortably in the middle. For those seeking a straightforward, no-surprises meal, this place will meet your expectations.
