Pizzeria Bianco

Pizzeria Bianco is definitely the hot chick at the party. It's the place everyone's heard of and the place everyone wants to be. It absolutely lives up to the hype, especially with pizza quality and experience. On an average day, pre-Portnoy, they offered pizza that is the #1 best in AZ and better than anything I've had in New York.. Post-Portnoy review, I'm not going to lie, I've had a couple of slightly overly charred pizzas for my taste, but still very good. That my only real knock on the place lately. You also have to valet park, and usually wait a bit in the historic house next door to be seated, which actually adds to experience. With all that said, extra charred post-Portnoy Bianco trades places for #1 and #2 best AZ pizza in my book, lately being edged out only by POMO downtown phx near by

Delicious and efficient

We waited for about an hour, and when we sat down, the server took our order quickly. The pizzas arrived within 10 minutes (we got the margherita and the rosa). Immediately, when the pizzas were placed on the table, we noticed they were burnt/charred. The Rosa was delicious, even with a burnt crust (which was mostly inedible) but the Margherita was so overdone it was flavorless and almost not palatable. For $22/$23 a pizza, I would have expected better consistency and quality. Would not recommend this place, sadly.

Overall, giving this restaurant experience and food two stars. The pizzas, especially the margarita, were burnt. The service was fast but also felt rushed, which makes the wait confusing. We (2 people )arrived at 5:30 and waited an hour. The Rosa Pizza was delicious, but the margarita pizza was almost inedible, which shows inconsistency. Would not recommend.

Amazing pizza. Used to be my favorite stop. Now they charge $10 for parking in the lot or park a mile away on the street if you can find a place. Not very welcoming to drivers. Pretty expensive once you buy pizza, add gratuity and then another $10 just to pick up a pizza to go. I'm done.

Great pizza, but no take-out and hour+ long waits for a table. How are you gonna call yourself a pizzeria and not allow pick up orders?

I waited about 45min at 8pm without a reservation. I had the pizza, pasta and dessert. ( rice pudding- ) Over all a really good experience. Would of been a fun place to go with a friend, alas I was alone. Staff was great and very attentive but not annoying. I will for sure go back. The bar tender is named Anthony so you know if they are hiring Italians… must be good.
