Great customer experience and always fix ordering problems. Would definitely be going back!

Stopped by for a quick slice. Friendly service, great atmosphere and the slice was great. I got the veggie and I was pleasantly surprised that they used Kalamata olives. The value was great as the one slice was really large enough to be considered two smaller pieces.

We did take out wanting to try a local pizza spot we heard good things about. Honestly the Sicilian slice is the best thing there. They put so much pepperoni on it that it’s almost too much, making the pizza very salty overall. The crust was great though. The most disappointing thing were the regular slices. All the ones we had were very dry which made the crust ends hard to the touch and bite. They need to perfect their reheating process.

Finally, a great pizza joint in the LA area. I picked up from San Marino store, heated it up at my crib and it was perfect. Quick, pleasant service at the counter and the pie was loaded with toppings. Our new spot for pizza from now on. One odd aspect re other reviews. Two negative reviews below begin exactly the same…”Long story short” and then make long rambling claims that amount to nothing.

Pizzanista is a beautiful, small eatery tucked away in the business district of San Marino on Mission Street. Its staff is warm and friendly which made my visit seem like I had dropped in on the good side of my family. I sampled huge, generous slices of pizza including Goat Cheese, Pepperoni, Margherita and Sicilian. Some of the very best tasting pizza I’ve had in years, and very reminiscent of the now-shuttered famous Avanti Pizza restaurant on Lake Avenue in Pasadena. Pizzanista is firing on all of its cylinders. And is it any wonder why when I visited on the last Friday of 2023 just before closing —Dec. 29 — that the place was still jam-packed inside and in its patio and street-side seating areas. As the former business editor of the Pasadena Star-News, I give Pizzanista FIVE STARS. A must-visit for true pizza lovers in the San Gabriel Valley. Parking: Easy street parking on Mission Street. Check signs for time limits. Kid-friendliness: Parents had their children. Wheelchair accessibility: There’s an ADA-approved wheel chair sidewalk and two (2) handicapped parking spaces at the entrance to the eatery.

The best pizzas in San Marino and Pasadena area! Thin crust, fresh tomato sauce, fresh and quality ingredients. Worth spending a bit more for it. A joy!
