Pizza Metro

We’ve been to PM so many times that I can’t keep track. However, we moved out of the neighborhood and haven’t been back since the pandemic. Tonight, I had a craving for the chicken parm and fries. We also ordered in the Quattro Formagio pizza. Much to my surprise, the chicken parm came with a salad. I bit into a sandwich that barely had chicken inside of all that overcooked breading. There was sparse sauce and a tiny piece of cheese on it, which is so disappointing. It used to be the best item on the menu. My wife’s pizza was burnt. So is my long-time love affair with Pizza Metro.

I’m not a finicky eater and when it comes to pizza, I’m even less picky. All pizza can be a good pizza in my book and I hate wasting food but…. After one slice of their Buona pizza, I didn’t come back for seconds and ended up throwing it away. It was delivered cold, somewhat dried out, burnt and to be honest, tasted like a freezer burnt “Jack’s” frozen pizza. This was possibly the most disappointing pizza I’ve ever had and that’s coming from someone who can eat day old cold pizza from the fridge and enjoy it!!! I only ordered from here because the bakery items looked good, so I figured the food was probably good too. There seem to be many good reviews, so hopefully this was just a one off negative experience.

My husband and I went here on a whim! One of the Best decision that we ever made. We had the garbage pizza! SO DIVINE. I don’t even like many ingredients on top of my pizza, but this garbage pizza was superb. I can’t even describe the greatness that we had. We loved it. We met the owner who we had a great convo with. We can’t wait to go back.

Great pizza place, I love their garbage pizza and rosemary potatoe pizza - yum!
