1930 NE 163rd St, NMB, FL - Just as with our prior orders, today's was on point and we enjoyed the excellent Customer Service of the employees inside. I didn't get the two (2) workers names, a young woman (working the register/front area) and older gentleman (making the food), but they were at work Tuesday around 3:14 PM when the order was placed. When it was my turn to be served, before I even got to the register, the young woman made eye contact with me, smiled, and said my name, as if asking a question. I smiled back, replying: "Yes. It's me!" Now I would usually oreder two or three extra marinara sauces before leaving the store, and after saying: "I'd like to order two marinara sauces," the young woman gave them to me for free. I said, with raised eyebrows and a smile, "Okay. Thank you!" I was glad I was able to leave a tip this time, because the customer service deserved it. The older gentleman showed me that 'chivalry truly isn't dead'! I didn't recognize an order that was given me, so I stopped by the door to make sure I had the right order. The older gentleman walked over to me and said: "That door is tricky sometimes. You have to open it with your back, and then go out." I told him what I was doing, and he said: "Oh. It's all there darling. Everything is correct for the order." The Excellent Customer Service from both of these workers demonstrated, to me, their Professional Characters and Ethics, ready to please and leave their customers happy and satisfied!! And they sure did an Excellent job with the order, the tasty food, and with me!! Thank you for hiring these two (2) workers! Parking: Pizza Hut is located on the right-hand corner of NE 19th Ct (if you're facing North/163rd St). There's free street parking next to Pizza hut, and on the other side of NE 19th Ct, next to Burger King. There's a free parking lot that's shared with other businesses in the shopping plaza. Depending on the time of day, the spaces directly in front of Pizza Hut may be taken, but I've never seen the lot completely filled, even if I had to walk a short distance from my vehicle. Kid-friendliness: The decor of the restaurant doesn't cater to kids specifically, but the menu items are what all kids love: PIZZA!! Therefore, I believe it's kid-friendly! Wheelchair accessibility: There's a sidewalk that's wheelchair accessible on NE 19th Ct, and in the parking lot by the two (2) Disabled Parking spaces. Pizza Hut has two doors, the entrance flooring is flat and there should be enough space inside to steer a wheelchair.
Giving this location a 3.8 rating. I particularly like to visit a location twice to write a rating. This is my second time visiting this location in a short time span. As a matter of fact, I haven't visited any Pizza Hut in years. The first visit was pretty good. Quick and accurate. We enjoyed the pizza. However, the second time was a bit questionable, both food and service. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza with half pepperoni. The way they pizza looked was, as if it were two halves placed together. It just looked questionable and not seen anything like it. Called and returned it or a fresh pizza, which they obliged. Management and staff were unfriendly, and they saw nothing wrong. (Pictured is literally what I saw when I opened the box after I arrived home). That's a no for me. I am all about consistency of service, cleanliness, and food. This restaurant has proved that it is not a location I'd visit again. Staff were not really friendly and manager included. Management, the consistency, and positive service are what keep your business open and happy returning customers. Thumbs down.
