Pizza Bruno

Great brick oven pizza. Wood tables. Great wine selection. Twinkle lighting and good music playing. This was a really good authentic place to eat with friends for dinner.

I went here twice late at night, around closing. I ordered pizzas for takeout and they typically took 20/30 minutes. I spent about 60 dollars and each one I received was burned, so burned you could smell the bitterness from the box. They were almost inedible - the bottoms were black and large parts of the top. The ingredients are high quality, but the preparation is terrible.

I called this restaurant to place a order for pick up . I ask the lady to break down the toppings. She had an attitude and no patience. On top of that she hung up while I was still trying to place my order. Definitely not recommending this spot to friends or family. Hire more professional People!!! Date the incident happened 2/9/2024 around 3ish!!!

Pizza Bruno is a quaint, but energetic local dig serving Neapolitan-style hand tossed pizzas with creative topping combinations. We overall thought our meal at Pizza Bruno was average, it was good, but nothing spectacular that would keep us coming back. We were also disappointed with some aspects of the service, such as the server’s inattentiveness, and their kitchen was out of several items when we were there. Some highlights of our experience were the garlic knots appetizer, which were soft, very garlicky, and served with a delicious tomato dipping sauce. We also ordered the burrata appetizer which was served with a small freshly baked bread loaf made from their pizza dough, which was delectably soft and had great flavor for being so simple. We tried several different pizzas, and found most of them to be good, but again, nothing particularly impressive that would keep us coming back for more. Perhaps it was because some of the items were missing ingredients, such as the Blanca pizza was served with regular ricotta as they were out of the lemon ricotta. The server we had was quite nice and friendly, but seemed a bit distracted, despite the restaurant not being overly busy. For instance, she asked all but one person at the table for their drink order, and then walked away before the last person was able to order anything. When ordering food, we had to repeat our order several times, but still had missing items once the food came out. The interior and ambiance was quite nice. Lots of warm wood in the interior gave it a cozy, informal vibe, with an open kitchen showing off the wood-fired ovens. Music taste was modern and energetic, although still tasteful and not overwhelmingly loud. Vegetarian options: They had several clearly labeled vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. Parking: The location is in a small strip mall with a free, private parking lot. In the evening when we dined, all the other business in the strip mall were closed, so it was easy to find parking. Although, I could see finding parking more difficult if dining on a weekday when the adjacent business were still open.

Been a very long time customer of this place, ever since it opened here with my grandparents always eating here, I decided to eat here after not coming for some time and the pizza was great like always, but we got take out and the garlic nots were EXTREMELY tough, hard, and almost like rubber, usually we get fresh ones but I guess today we got the day old ones, hopefully next time their better, sad.
