Pitkins Fish & Chicken

I’ve tried again and again but I can’t anymore. Food cost too much to night be good. First it was the wings. They were dry and hard. When I’ve ordered previously, I’ve told them not to fry them hard but I don’t think they change the oil like they should. Then tonight, I ordered the salmon combo with shrimp. The salmon was dry but edible. The rice was stiff. The vegetables were over cooked. the shrimp is what pushed me to write this review. This was my favorite place when they opened. Sadly I will not be returning.

This place made great wings before Covid. After Covid you can tell it’s new cooks and new products that just aren’t as good.

Just came across this spot great variety of Fish, Chicken, very good prices Kid-friendliness: Kids Menu pretty cool.

Worker wasn't to pleasant taking food order

Food is not the same . We ordered a Friday night 4/28, like someone else said the soy garlic wings were hard like a rock and the taste isn't the same as before the flavor is just horrible. We use to love their honey hot wings too but the sauce become very oily and not as hot and sweet like before who ever made them before put some love and spice into them . The whitening had no flavor just tasted like fried fish very bland. The vegetables were probably the tastiest although they needed some salt I'm ok with adding my own to my vegetables to my liking. Overall, they need to revise their recipes they aren't consistent and if there is a new chef I can tell. I will not return.

This wasn't my first time going there, let's just make that clear. The food has great flavor, but on April 6 2023 I decided that I wanted some soy garlic wing with fries to go. My chicken was burned and my fries was over cooked and the crazy thing is the place was empty. So there was no reason to over cook the food... My Advice to you is to check your food before leaving or just cook at home and don't waste your money......
