Pitanga is a beautiful bar/restaurant serving up good drinks and good food. The menu has a good selection of options and everything I tried was delicious! I went in on a Friday evening and the restaurant was a little quiet which is honestly surprising given how spacious and welcoming it is. I ordered the pao de quejo and the fish stew and I recommend both. On a second visit I ordered the cheese plate and it was ok.
Friendly staff and really good pasties and lattes
Delicious, joyful food and premium coffee! I love every meal I have here.
Food is amazing! We are regulars there. We always come here with our dog (service dog). But today we got kicked out by a manager because of bringing a service animal! She told us that the restaurant might get a fine. I work in hospitality industry myself and I know that a service animal is allowed to accommodate a person who own its. Maybe you should inform yourself better before turning your customers down? It’s 2024. It’s time to make your restaurant pet-friendly!
the food is great but it’s just too expensive. 29.00 after a salad and a coke plus tip. there is nothing special about the salad except it’s vegetarian. I would come more often if the prices were better. Vegetarian options: the vegetarian options are extensive but also expensive
Sat down for lunch at 1:40, served at 2:45... watched other tables receive food that sat well after us. Flagged down the guy that seems to be the owner or manager and he was immediately defensive "we're very busy". Yes, I could see that, but when you've been sitting an hour and nobody notices or stops at your table to let you know what's going on it's just a poor service plan. Food was nice, fresh, a lot like food I cook at home. Small side of fries was $10... seems more like an $8 dish. My salad and croissant were good, but it's more like a solid neighborhood spot for locals nothing for which I would come from another neighborhood. Vegetarian options: Lots of eggs and salads on the brunch menu, no meat sides like bacon. Restaurant on the whole seems meat light. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free items marked, cheese and meat are minimally featured
I love this place. Had no idea about dinner so I’ll have to come check that out. I’m only taking off two stars because of their prices. I know we live in a hard world but the portions and prices don’t match. I used to order only them specifically for breakfast. Their burrito is one of my favorite things ever but I stopped ordered… I hope they lower their prices back down a bit. Every time I go in there and it’s full inside… so don’t really understand everything being over priced now. Anyways, amazing staff, amazing food but I won’t be coming back as much
This is such a special cafe. I came here once to do a bit of working in their cafe and felt right at home, staff were so friendly and prompt, made me want to move right in. The pineapple juice transports you to a different place, and whoever's in charge of aux I consider us friends. I will be back, thanks.
