Pinocchio on the Bay is my favorite neighborhood spot in Edgewater. I highly recommend this place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff and owner are great. The food is very good as well as the coffee. I try to go at least once per week.

Favorite little spot in Edgewater. I love to come here for a coffee with pistachio croissant in the morning or brunch/ lunch on the weekends. Their take out pizza is best in town.

I've waited to review Pinocchio after trying a few of their dishes. I would say the food is good but not great. The cold brew is quite good as is their coffee in general. And I quite like the owner of the place. I just think the food needs to be cooked with a little bit more finesse. In particular, I didn't quite like how the scrambled eggs are made with the salmon in that one dish. The scrambled eggs are overcooked and the salmon is essentially minced. The paninis are good however, but I wouldn't say they are anything to write home about. I also like the selection of market items. Have yet to try their gelato but it does look pretty good. Overall, Pinocchio is a nice neighborhood spot with a good vibe.

A great family ran business. I appreciated how I watched this family work hard and made me glad we chose this restaurant. The food was good (sandwiches) and a couple can eat here for lunch for about $35 - A good place but it was we will probably not ever come back to again since we were on a trip. It was a decent memory!

Went for lunch with friends. The food is pretty good, flavorful, and nice. There's a variety of sandwiches, entrees, juices, and sides. The entree's special of the day wasn't marked and at $18 for a plate of lasagna that's a mediocre deal. There are plenty of places in Miami you can get a $18 or less lunch that's a larger portion or even better quality. The service left a lot to be desired and made me regret a tip. The staff forgot an order, one of the cashiers was a bit rude, and I almost had to beg for a drink that I'd already paid for and was forgotten. It was just a few bad apples and the manager that ruined the experience. Most of the staff was polite but if you run into some of them you'll likely feel put off as a customer. OK, I can take my money somewhere else please if you don't want it! The atmosphere, if I could go negative I would. The place is well decorated with the Pinocchio theme, has a great view, but the patrons stunk when I arrived. I know this is luck of the draw but the response of the restaurant staff is why I gave it one star. When I went the outer tables were packed so we dined inside. A group of kids, aged about 5-7, were running, yelling, playing with the toys, spilling gelato on the floor (which wasn't cleaned up in our stay there), they ran off other customers and not a word was said. It really took what could have been a good to mediocre experience downhill. This group ran off another customer, nearly destroyed some decor, and spilled gelato in about a 10 ft. series of drips. While I was there, about twenty minutes, no staff cleaned it so welcome to sticky gelato on your shoes. Nothing was said to the kids and really something should have been said to them and the parents. Our party left as soon as we consumed the food after this nightmare of bad kids also ran off at least one other patron. I know that the restaurant staff is not the parent but when you run off other customers and leave the place dirty and nearly torn up, something MUST be said. So if you love Pinocchio, or can get a table outside on a nice day, it's not bad. If you go inside and have to deal with rudeness, forgotten orders, and terrible other patrons I'm sure you'll rate it the same as me or lower.
