The food and service were outstanding and the sunset was beautiful!
Came here for the raw oysters and the 2 for 1 happy hour special. Very good oysters, service, and overall atmosphere. Definitely check it out!
Anna was a delight. My experience at Pinchers is always excellent and this time my husband got to experience it as well. Can't wait to come back!
I was visiting the Edison museum the decided to try this place. The inside of the restaurant was nice looking and festive. The service was disappointing, we got seated right away but it took about 20 minutes before the wait staff came by and when they did he only said "did someone take your order". By the time that got sorted it took about 45 minutes for the food to show up. The crab cakes were wonderful but the fish dinner we order was not cooked correctly which only delayed the meal further. If I return to the area I will give it another try.
The food is fair but the staff and atmosphere are great. The cold shrimp was delicious, dense and tender. Cooked perfectly. The calamari was a small portion and not fresh, very chewy and almost tastes like it as fried twice. The marinara that was served with it was dry and clumpy, as if it was the bottom of a jar that's been left open in the fridge for a week. The fish and chips, even worse. Normally it's a decent thick cut but tonight it was thin and so overcooked that it curled up on the plate. The fries were a soggy disappointment. For heaven sakes, don't look into the open kitchen. The floors are a mess with debris all over the place. I know that's relatively normal in a kitchen but not where the guests can see everything. The waitress was wonderful and service spectacular. Thank goodness for redemption of a generous happy hour.
Had a great time. Good shrimp Rangoon and mozzarella sticks for appetizers. The Pinchers Cobb salad with Mahi was very filling and the blue cheese with it gave it good tang. Parking: Huge overflow lot made parking easy. Just exit and go to the sign across the street.
Great seafood in a relaxed atmosphere. A trip to Fort Myers would not be complete without a meal at Pinchers.
For the price not worth it the food is subpar had the chicken alfredo with no taste very bland too expensive for food that is subpar paid $41 for a dish that I ate half and threw away the rest try some seasoning next time when you're cooking it is my suggestion
Pricey. Won't be back anytime soon. Cost 2 of us $74
