Can’t comment on food, but restaurant was empty, bartender wouldn’t allow seating anywhere other than bar. Unpleasant staff who generally ignored you. Just left

Went here back in 2022 and was staying at the hotel across the street. My wife and I wanted some place to eat so at first, we went to another bar down the street and when I saw their menu (it looked like pictures off a pool menu from the 90s-00s), we decided to leave and give this place a try due to proximity. What a fantastic turn of events when we walked into this place. Unsure of what to expect we walked and got a seat. We were told it was Restaurant Week and they had a special menu, when I tell you right now it was the best meal I’ve ever had, probably in my life. Everything and I mean everything on that 5-course meal was delicious (my wife got a different option than I did so we could try basically everything on the menu) and the service was fantastic. I just thought about that meal, specifically the 5-spice cake with green apple sorbet for dessert and just how it blew my mind the combination. Whenever I go back to Manhattan I will be coming back to try something else! Loved the bathroom by the way
