Juan delivered to our Injury Law Firm, Deon Goldschmidt Attorneys on S. Lamar. Our staff loved the meats, sausage, ribs and brisket. The sides were also a huge hit, potato salad and corn. I was surprised to find he also included vegan burgers for the one vegan in the group. Included toppings on the side and fries, so thoughtful. This place is awesome. 5 Stars for keeping my case managers fueled for a busy day at the firm! Thank you! Vegetarian options: Vegan - Beyond Burger

I work for Deon Goldschmidt Attorneys, a small office/high output injury attorney in the Austin area. Today I had the absolute pleasure of trying Pig Pen BBQ. This was my first time trying it, and being a native of TX, I am no stranger to good bbq. Pig Pen does not disappoint. I tried their brisket, sausage and pork ribs. All of which were completely ON POINT. The brisket had that amazing bark that you crave, while still being totally moist and tender. The ribs were fantastic and flavorful, pulling right off of the bone but were not in the least bit over or undercooked. To be honest, most bbq joints don't have a strong pork rib game. Pig Pen IS NOT most bbq joints. The sausage was as delicious as I've ever had, in addition to having that "snap" to it that high quality sausage SHOULD have. To top it off their sauce is fantastic too. Not that you need it to enjoy the feast, but if you're into sauce, its a safe bet that you'll like what they're doing over there. Furthermore, I feel like I was able to get just a little more insight into the operation than the average bear. The owner, Juan, delivered our meal to us and from the moment he walked into the office you could tell that this guy was doing what he loves to do. He is friendly and great to talk to, and is clearly passionate about his "cue". I am not generally one to write reviews, and would certainly refrain from drafting up any sort of lengthy review, without great reason. Let this review be further testament to how highly I think of this restaurant. Now that I know who and where Pig Pen BBQ is, I will be seeing much more of them. I highly recommend giving these guys a try!

Best bbq in town. Love this place. If you are looking for local food with a great Texas vibe this is it. Try their mexican food as well. You won't be sorry.

Best ribs in Texas. Sweet delicious sauce. Good sides. Will definitely be back.

Stopped here on the way back from Hamilton Pool to Austin. Was 100% worth it. Some of the best brisket and ribs I’ve had in TX. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. Worth the trip!

The atmosphere was awesome and the food was absolutely amazing! Ribs was seasoned very well with herbs and spices. You won’t be disappointed!
