I am a fan of chicken, biscuits, honey and butter when combined. What a delight it can be. But this place has completely missed rhe mark. I don't know who needs to hear this but crunchy biscuits have never been a commodity for breakfast, brunch or dinner. Perhaps after the club on Saturday when you're sloshed but on a Sunday afternoon...NEVER. The biscuits were so hard I couldn't use a knife to cut into them! The insides were soft but I dont even wanna struggle with my sandwich or any food unless its lobster. The flavor fortunately was on point but there must be an audience who appreciates hard outer layer biscuits. If you have a palette like mine and want to preserve your veneers, go to Wendy's instead. They have a delectable honey butter chicken sandwich that I'm taken aback by. If they weren't closed at the time I would have gone there for half the price and a much more pleasant experience.

This place changed my life. I'll never be the same again. The best fried chicken. The banana cream pie was absolutely amazing.

The worst "soul food" I've ever had. We spent $80 on 2 meals via Door Dash. Highly disappointed. The chicken is not seasoned & is very dry. The breading it very light, almost looks like cornflakes. The Macaroni & Cheese was underwhelming as well and leaves a lot to be desired. Noodles are overcooked, very little seasoning with a pasty cheese sauce. The collards taste straight like straight vinegar & are mostly stems. The sent us some dry biscuits with no butter. The best thing about the meal were honestly the side of shoestring fries at $9. Fried pickles were OK. The homemade ranch was way to runny. All in all, this was a major miss for both of us. At least the food was hot, but I wouldn't recommend it at all.

We decided to go visit this restaurant that GUY FIERI had once visted. It is a wonderful small restaurant. Lots of food being picked up by uber eats. Which to me is a good sign of fresh food being made. So I decided to order the 3 piece chicken box with biscuit and Mac cheese. Also a side of collard greens. The food was tasty. As expected the chicken was crispy and moist. Mac and cheese was okay. My husband ordered the buscuit chicken sandwich. He said it was delicious. He also had banana pudding pie and i had the toffee pecan doughnut. Both desserts were amazing, very enjoyable. I thought i wasnt going to eat the whole bagel size donut but I did. :) The staff were very attentive. Should definitely visit this place when in Brooklyn.
