Don't need to eat for a week after going here!

Lindsey was awesome, food was great!!

I don't understand why the wait times are so damn long when the joint is not even busy! 1 side of the restaurant is occupied by half. Girl at the counter tells us after 10 minutes that there are NO SERVERS.. They need to do some hiring.

This was our first visit. My other half got the country low boil with the 88 Special Hot. I nibbled on his periodically and didn't find it to be overpoweringly hot. It was perfect. I had gotten the shrimp po boy and some onion rings. Both were delightfully crispy and tasty. We'd ordered hush puppies and Mozzarella sticks as appetizers, but they came out with the meal. They were also delicious. Our server, Erika, was friendly and remembered little things we'd said during the ordering process. I'd highly recommend Pier 88 if you like seafood.

The dining experience was ok. The reason for the rate is to bring attention to the owner. Problem-upon paying for my food I noticed that you guys FORCE the customer to tip 18% of the bill. My bill was only 32.89 meaning i had to tip $5.92. By doing this to the customers it makes the tips potentially less for the servers. I would have gladly given the server $10 CASH for a tip because she was great. A tip is meant to be something extra for giving excellent service. But if a waiter gives poor service they still get tipped in this cause and that wrong for a customer to still have to give extra. Please allow us to tip to our liking and allow servers to make more money. As far as the food goes it was ok. We had chicken tenders they were a little under cook and the ranch is nasty . My daughter had mussels boil she said it was seasoned well but some of the shells of her mussels were empty.

NO FLAVOR!!!!! I am so disappointed . I spent over $100 on this and it was not good at all. I will NEVER cheat on Capt. Louie's again, I've learned my lesson. "Hype" was all it was...bye
