This place is amazing!! Madison was our server and she was super sweet! She gave us the best service, answered our questions, and just overall very helpful. We came an hour and a half before closing and nobody was rude once closing came. (Respectfully, we did not over stay our welcome). Food is absolutely fantastic, we got the all you can eat. My husband couldn’t stop talking about the wings we got for days. Definitely will be back!!
We stopped in for a late lunch and were very impressed with the menu variety. It was our first visit to Pier 8, but it won't be our last. The food and service were excellent.
Great food! Great service! Great prices, is or go to place we look forward to visiting and we go every week! Love the bartenders Josh & Kay try & sit in their area! Making me hungry just talking about it!
I visited Pier 8 between 3 and 6 during a weekday so it wasn’t peak hours but service was great. I really like seafood boils and this is very similar to others I’ve had. Seafood seemed pretty fresh and the king crab legs were huge and meaty. Cajun spice could have been a little hotter for me but they had some great local draft beers and a good selection of bottles - but no Miller Lite. Great appetizers and a good atmosphere for a date night or a family outing. Next time I’m in the area I’ll definitely visit again. Kid-friendliness: Good fish variety hanging from the ceiling.
My brother and I went in for a quick lunch while my daughter was at school and OMG. This place was so amazing Im not sure if my words can describe how good the seafood was for not being anywhere near the ocean. It was so fresh tasting and their house sauce mix I could drink. My brother goes to the coast of Florida every year and eats "real" seafood and he was super pleased with Pier 8. If youre craving seafood try this place out. The Po boys are fat and tasty but the boils are where its at. For sure. Oh and the server she was soooo nice and helpful with deciding on the sauces and combinations.
We sat in the bar for my birthday dinner. Drew is a fantastic server/bartender. Quick service, very friendly, funny, attentive, he knew the menu through and through and had great suggestions.
The price of the "all you can eat" comes out more cost savings than the individual plated items, all have to do the all you can eat option. The first time I went here the flavoring was great, but the crabs were undercooked. The second time the same flavor garlic butter, spicy was salty. They definitely fill your bag with shrimp, if that's your order. We like the noodles all buttered up. The cheesecake was pretty good , beignets were okay. The oysters were grainy both times. The fried oysters were not my favorite. Ice cream is generic.
