The food and service were excellent. This restaurant is extremely busy so be prepared to wait. We only waited 30 minutes.
Nikita is an astounding photographer. Photos by the ocean feel like being the main character in your own movie. The food here is fresh and unforgettable. My partner and I felt welcomed, heard, and noticed. It was made complete by a server who let us go at our own pace and made things lively and personal in a way that didn't feel shoved in our faces. All summed up I'd say my visit to Pier 14 was peaceful.
Nikita was a great photographer here! He took such good pictures of me and my partner that we got to take home as keepsakes, Our Server, Carisa, Was amazing! Great attitude and service and the food was great! Will come again next vacation!
At least the fries were good. Hushpuppies were undercooked and raw in the middle. We told our server and he did this whole performative “i almost kicked the chef when i walked back there >:(“ routine, and then didn’t even take them off the bill. The special was sold to us as fish tacos; what came out was an under-seasoned, dry fish filet for $10 more than the tacos we thought we were getting. Shrimp salad roll was similarly dry and underseasoned. Cocktail menu looked like it was designed by a 16 year old. 90% of the drinks looked disgustingly sweet and poorly put together. We just ended up ordering beers after a failed round of cocktails. We couldn’t even taste the alcohol in them. Not everything was completely terrible but there were just so many little things wrong that it turned out to be quite a poor experience.
Food was great, service was amazing! Fast and delicious!
Food was really good. Service was excellent. The view of the pier and ocean was nice. Prices were really high. Mixed drink was expensive for the size. Thus 4 stars because of high prices.
great service and awesome drinks! cool atmosphere with the pier, and the waitress was very friendly
Atmosphere was incredible! Took my girlfriend here for a romantic dinner and drinks. Being right on the beach was incredible. The service was exceptional and I was never waiting for anything. Can’t wait to come back!
The best place to eat OVER the ocean in Myrtle Beach, Pier 14 is iconic, a must visit destination off 14th Avenue North in the heart of the boardwalk and the only pier left unharmed by the last hurricane. Try the Carolina Clam Chowder, the best hush puppies in town and the pretzels. Great to eat outside but inside is good too then walk the pier and visit their great store.
