INGREDIENT CUTBACKS (STINGY) Recent change in management and/or policy means severely limited amounts of toppings including sauce and cheese. We've been coming to this location since they opened but now it's like eating a few wet toppings on a burnt cardboard round. Our pizzas from October 2023 were fine, so not sure what happened in the last 2 months, but they've become extremely stingy/cheap. SAUCE/CHEESE Oil/butter and sauce are spread so thin,, it's imperceptible and adds no flavor. Mozzarella cheese is sprinkled on - the most they allow is "double" and it's still so sparse there's hardly any overlap and when it melts you can see the individual grated pieces of cheese. VEGGIE/MEAT Veggie & meat toppings are also a joke - they grab a few pieces and shred each one so you see tiny little pieces of onion, mushroom, pepper, artichoke, and meat all over but none of it is enough to add actual flavor. Again, the most they'll do is double, but a tablespoon of toppings is not enough when it's spread out. CRUST/OVERALL SIZE Overall, the pizza itself is also smaller in diameter, especially evident when it's in the box. DRINKS $3.15 for a cup but only 1 out of the 2 fruit/lemonade stands is always empty so you have the limited selections in the soda machine. LIMITED PARTICIPATION IN DEALS/PROMOTIONS: This location selectively participates in the promotions/deals you see on the app or emails, so you might want to call to ask before you show up. YMMV TL;DR: This Whittier location has become so stingy, it's a waste of time and money for inedible food. $15 was better spent at Popeye's, In-N-Out, Chipotle, Taco Bell, Raising Cane's, or any other nearby fast food place.
