Pho No. 1 is one of the best pho places I've had not located in Argyle (or named Pho Nam Lua.) The broth is layered, flavorful, and yet, still light. The meats are all carefully curated for each bowl and do not arrive to the table already overcooked in the soup. If you're willing to venture off the beaten path, the other Vietnamese cuisine are also all solid. I suggest trying any of the dishes with the chef's caramelized sauce (but be aware that it comes with a kick).
We were greeted immediately. Best papaya salad we have had. Food came out hot and fresh. Beer was decent. Priced very reasonable. Worth a shot. Parking: Street parking
This is a solid pho, I would definitely come back.
Nice to see a new(?) spot in my old neighborhood. Enjoyed a very generous bowl of pho while seated at the bar. Restaurant has a nice interior, decor, and seating all around. Ordered and pictured here is Crispy Crab Rangoon and 21d Picanha Pho. Pretty cool they brew their own beers - enjoyed a Pale Ale and an Imperial Spiced Stout. Wouldn't mind stopping in again if around the area. Parking: Free street parking but be mindful of the signs (on N Pacific Ave); Some are limited to one free hour between a certain time, and free after the posted sign.
I read the Google reviews of this place and I was really looking forward to trying some authentic Vietnamese food. I do have to say that the Vietnamese food here is authentic, however, the food quality I think is subpar. I ordered the Pho beef noodle soup, and I couldn't believe the huge amount of rice noodle that came with my Pho. It was too much. Had I known that, I would've asked for "light or easy" rice noodles. The Pho broth tasted wonderful, authentic, and flavorful. The dining area is aestheticly nice with bright lights that give a more modern vibe to it. I was surprised to see that Pho No.1 Brewing Co doesn't serve banh mi sandwiches on their menu. Banh mi sandwiches is a staple and a well known Vietnamese cuisine that many Vietnamese restaurant serve it. But I guess Pho No.1 Brewing makes up for that with other cuisine on their menu.
Delicious food Best pho!good friendly service.
It was a nice quiet place to dine in 9f course if you like Vietnamese food.
