This place is pho-king amazing!
Cozy little place with great decor and courteous staff. Food is good, maybe a little pricey, but a nice small menu and in particular excellent pork buns. Really pleased to have a Vietnamese restaurant in Kent!
Best Pho restaurants in Kent
A very solid bowl of pho, perhaps not incredible, but definitely worthwhile. That being said the bao are very good. I have tried most meats besides the tripe (not that I don't like it I'm usually just a bit hesitant when it comes to it) and all tasted good. Service is very polite and the restaurant is very clean. Would recommend and is extremely appreciated on a cold day. Dietary restrictions: Pho itself is gluten free, which is good.
taste is good.but I want to more vegetables
My husband and I just moved to the Akron area a few months ago and have been wanting to try this place out. I’m a little disappointed as most of the reviews are very high. We ordered P1 and B1. Starting with the positives for the pho: great portion size, good amount of meat, noodles were cooked well and not too soggy or hard, and had fresh veggies. The negatives: the broth lacked any spice flavor. There was a heavy beef broth flavor, but pho needs spices in order to hit the spot and this didn’t. The bahn mi was very good in flavor, although extremely expensive for the size you got. Typically in New York we would pay $4-$5 for a large one and here we were paying over $8 for a small one the size of a hot dog bun. True bahn mi also has lighter bread and this one was pretty dense. Personally I didn’t mind that though. Overall I’d come again but not for the pho as the broth was disappointing. Will be trying other dishes though in the future!
I ate here with my daughter, we tried two of the appetizers and each of us had pho. All food was very good!
