Good Pho but the sandwiches don't have enough filling.

Will never come back here again. I've been here several times and everything has been typical service but after dining in today, it was a horrible experience. I took my mom and daughter to eat here. The cool part is our pho and fried egg rolls came out right away. However, we ordered a sandwich for my mom but it never came. I was almost done with my pho and we asked our server about the sandwich and she said they are making it and it will be out in 1 minute. 10 minutes later, I'm done with my XL pho and we informed our waitress that we are still waiting on the sandwich and she still said they are making it in the back and it will be out soon. It doesn't make sense for it to take over 25 minutes for a sandwich bc it is simple to put together and the place wasn't even busy. I can understand if the place is packed and we had a large party or something or if we even ordered many items or even a rare dish for it to take over 25 minutes!!! Since the waitress kept holding us off, we told the guy and the elderly lady behind the counter that we've been waiting for our sandwich and they had no idea what happened so my mom didn't get to eat what she ordered - a simple banh mi sandwich. We ended up telling them to cancel the sandwich and the elderly lady tried to say that they put the sandwich order by accident on someone else's table. That doesn't make sense either because we inquired about our sandwich twice within 25 minutes with the waitress so they were aware we were waiting on a sandwich. Also, if it was misplaced on someone's order, most people will kindly say they didn't order that item and they would have figured out whose order it belongs to but ultimately they forgot about our order, didn't follow up when we gently asked about it, even though it wasn't even busy today. Very very disappointed with todays service. We didn't ask for the world, we asked for a simple sandwich that never made it to the table while our party finished our meals.

I live locally and this is a close restaurant for us. Been here many times and the food is just okay. However, twice including tonight, we've come to this restaurant and they've turned us away at 8:30 p.m. (Saturday night!) Extremely frustrating and rude when they turn you away at the door and you're expecting them to be open till 9:00 p.m. especially when the restaurant is full of people and we're only a party of two, we would be done before most of those others. There was a couple of tables and a booth still available. If you're not going to serve dine-in till 9 p.m., then don't post that as your opening hours. They should put a closed sign out at 8:30pm and change their marked hours for dine-in service. For a supposed family-owned business they don't seem to want our business, and they won't get it anymore and we won't recommend others go there as well. If you want a better restaurant option, go to Quan Nem Ninh Hoa in West Covina.

I just moved to the area and want to try some Vietnamese pho and ordered the house soup pho. The soup was semi-hot. There was a good amount of meat and the bean sprouts were clean. The soup base was good. For $16 a regular size was ok. However, the coffee was $6, more than I thought it should be. Overall, I give this place 3.5 stars and probably will go back and try something else.

Terrible customer service. I ordered my food to go and sat in the waiting area for 30-40 minutes. My food had been ready for the past 25-30 minutes and rather than letting me know the food was ready, it sat there. When I asked why they didn't tell me, rather than apologizing which would have been fine, all that was said was "You should have checked on it"
