I’ve been coming here for years and now I try to come here every time I’m in town. The beef on rice and chicken wings are absolutely a must!! We tried the low mein this time and it was ok. Good quality Asian comfort food. No reservations here so make sure you come early there’s always a line.
It is one of the better restaurants in China town. Classic, can't go wrong with this place
The fried chicken lives up to the hype!
One of the best asian restaurants in Vancouver. Beef noodles and garlic chicken wings are made perfect here. Butter beef tastes great. Restaurant is always busy (for good reason), washrooms could be nicer.
To say Phnom Penh is a staple in the Vancouver restaurant scene is an understatement. Always popular and always pleasing for a reason... The food is so comforting. From the famous chicken wings to the melt-in-your-mouth butter beef to the simplicity of fried rice with Chinese sausage... You can't go wrong. We came by in early December and dine-in was a little less busy than in the past (covid related no doubt) but picked up as we were finishing. Some other recommendations to try here is the Beef Luc Lac (you can either get a small order served with rice and a fried egg or get a large serving by itself and pair it with a full dish of fried rice). The squid here is similar to the addictive chicken wings and is often overlooked but worth the try. If it wasn't so darn cold out, we would have picked up one of their tasty moo shakes.
phenomenal place with the best garlic chicken wings. my family has been going here since before i was born. always busy so come during off hours and be prepared to line up. butter beef and squid are also favourites. underrated but amazing dish is the lotus stems!!
Everything good but the line up.
An interesting alternative to the typical Asian cuisine. Their beef tartare is a must-try. The other dishes that we tried, fried chicken, papaya salad, and beef were fine.
