Philz always has great beans and the atmosphere is lively - so a great place to work close to Chapman. Given this, I have been a bit disappointed with this location. The depth of the taste I usually get from Philz has been a bit inconsistent - maybe they need more long-term baristas? Again, the beans and aroma are good but lately the coffee has been off - over or under-brewed. I do like to get half Julie's half Jacob's - a must try in my opinion. The food is usually alright. Don't expect anything particularly great, I'd say. Philz has a pretty good app by the by for ordering ahead. Good for a professor on the go! Parking: There is a free public garage a couple blocks away - that's your best bet, especially over the weekend. On the weekdays, you can find street parking close by. The parking lot is very limited and much of it - if not all - is for pick up orders.

Love Philz! My favorite is the mint mojito, great flavor and always hits the spot. Everyone inside was very friendly and the shop is clean. It is a smaller place with an even smaller parking lot so beware parking is not super easy.
