Ricas hamburguesas y me encanta suit potate. Algo sucio y ruidoso
I'm not sure why this place has 4.5 stars. I had a cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. My kids shared the adult chicken tenders. There is nothing special about the taste of the food. I think it's just been around a long time and has a lot of local people supporting it. I was born and raised in south Austin. I support all the originals but they need to work on their recipes. The playground was good since we have kids. Kid-friendliness: Play ground outside for the kids.
Good burgers and the mixed fries are delicious! Perfect to bring your family to or for as a quick but nice burger meal
Good food, prepared fast. Nice size portions and great family restaurant. Fun playground for children.
Lovely atmosphere.. great for kids. Has a playground outside and plenty of picnic tables. Also customer service and food a 10!!
Maybe we need to eat at more local Austin burger joints, but this was literally top three burgers of all time for me and hubs. We couldn’t stop saying, “Mmmm” after each bite. It was so yummy. Fries were good, too but nothing super special. The ice cream shop was also delightful. Recommend sharing a burger so you can indulge in some ice cream after. Wish we lived nearby so we could visit again soon!
I don't know if this review applies to the other Phil's locations it not. That being said, this Phil's felt like a giant step down from the burnet and north 183 locations. The food tasted off, trash outside was ignored for the entire duration I was there as pigeons feasted on it, and the managers seemed a little confrontational. There was one guy cleaning tables that was genuinely pleasant and did his job professionally. The rest of the staff seemed more content to wait behind the counter and talk. This could have been an off day for them, I'm not sure but it was definitely a step back from the other two locations I've been to.
