Phill's Corner Grill BBQ

The tri tip and chicken is really really good. Some of the best around. Mac and cheese and potato salad is just okay. My main issue is that the business hours are so erratic. I went by 3 times over a month or so span and each time it was closed but the phone message and website says they are open on Friday and Saturdays( those are the days I tried to go). Maybe they should update on social media if they won't be open on certain days.

I ordered the bbq chicken. It was REALKY good I also ordered a pastrami burger, and did not disappoint. The rack of ribs I had were a little dry, but had good flavor. Phil was very personable, and I will be back!

It was time to buy Lunch for the company and the boss man said how about a Barbeque for the guys this Friday? I asked around the shop and had two people suggest Phill's Corner Grill BBQ so I took a drive over and found Phill at the smoker getting it ready. I told him I was looking to feed about 20 people and he suggest at least 2 Trips and a couple sides. We settled upon that the Rice Pilaf, Mac N Cheese and two whole Chickens. I showed early than I told him to expect me the next day and everything was ready to go, they even helped me get everything loaded into the car. The drive back to work was literally mouth watering! Everyone raved about the food! The Tri Tip was Amazing, I didn't know you could get such a smoky flavor throughout a chicken like that much less have it tender and Juicy. The Mac N Cheese was totally bomb and the Pilaf was as good as any I've had anywhere. My only regret is I didn't take a picture to share with you!

It's one of those places that it's super old so if your food comes out you're questioning the quality of the kitchen. That said... The bbq I got was fire but they need an upgrade

Phill's Corner BBQ is in my top 3 best ever. He is located inside the Peacock Market in the back corner of the store. I ordered a trip tip sandwich and couldn't believe that amount of meat on it and his BBQ sauce is absolutely the best I have ever had. I loved the trip tip so much I went back for the rib dinner plate. So juicy and come right off the bone. The real treat was definitely the Mac n cheese. It tasted just like my Grandma's which was always homemade. The grilling beans were absolutely amazing as well. You can't go wrong at Phill's if you're looking for really BBQ. I loved the trip tip so much I bought a whole one to take back to Oregon. Thanks Phill.

Great sandwiches

Wife and i are looking for a caterer to cater our wedding. A friend suggested phills. Tri-tip was smokey and good. Xrated mac n cheese had an ok taste but it was mush. Couldnt tell you were eating macaroni. Rice pilaf was flavorless. Wife got the ribs. Slightly salty but good. Beans were beans nothing special. Potatoe salad i thought was good. Too much pepper for the wife. Over all 3.5 of 5 stars. But nothing wrong with stopping in and trying for yourself. Everyone likes different things.

Best ribs in town

Phil just did a catering job for my Husband's 40th Birthday. I ordered pulled pork and tri-tip, and I was so overwhelmed by how many compliments we got on the meat. The tri-tip was fall apart deliciousness and the pulled pork was juicy and no sauce necessary. Exactly what I wanted. Thanks Phil!!!!
